Corrida pelo Emmy 2025: favoritos, azarões e surpresas no radar

Apostas, surpresas e injustiças na corrida para o Emmy 2025 - veja quem deve dominar as indicações!
Com o anúncio das indicações ao Emmy 2025 marcado para o dia 15 de julho, os editores do Oxente Pipoca, Filipe e Rafael, decidiram reunir suas apostas sobre quem deve aparecer entre os indicados e quem, infelizmente, deve ficar de fora. Acompanhando a temporada, já temos uma boa noção e o Emmy não costuma surpreender.
Em texto publicado após a edição passada do prêmio, Rafael refletiu sobre como o Emmy superou sua apatia nos momentos finais (com a vitória de Hacks), mesmo que, via de regra, a Academia de Televisão continue apostando no seguro: vencedores repetidos, séries batendo recorde atrás de recorde, não necessariamente por mérito, mas por pura preguiça. Como ele escreveu:
"Partindo do princípio de que esses prêmios são, acima de tudo, programas de TV em busca de audiência e prestígio, até quando o público vai tolerar essa falta de renovação, enquanto as próprias premiações afirmam valorizar a inovação?"
Será que em 2025 continuaremos nessa mesma linha ou poderemos ver algo diferente?
Nas categorias de comédia, Hacks deve dividir a atenção com O Estúdio, mas a vitória no ano anterior e a força da performance de Jean Smart devem falar mais alto. A torcida agora é para que Hannah Einbinder também leve os louros. Justo? Sem dúvida. Mas saber que séries como O Ensaio e Alguém em Algum Lugar provavelmente nem serão lembradas pela Academia, é absurdo. Nas categorias dramáticas, Ruptura parecia ser imbatível até certo ponto: a estrondosa popularidade de The Pitt, claro, unida a qualidade da produção. Enquanto as outrora favoritas The White Lotus e The Last of Us tiveram temporadas divisivas e devem brigar mais nas categorias de atuação e técnicas. Andor, com sua espetacular temporada final, não teve uma campanha à altura pela Disney, infelizmente. As subestimadas Industry e Entrevista com o Vampiro seriam uma surpresa bem-vinda, mas a vaga de “séries que mereciam mais” deve ficar unicamente com a fantástica Slow Horses.
Então, sem enrolar demais, vamos às nossas previsões:
Categorias de Comédia
Em Melhor Série de Comédia, Hacks tem um favoritismo claro por ser a última vencedora, mas O Estúdio pode surpreender. A quarta temporada de Hacks definitivamente foi inferior à sua antecessora, mas isso só porque a terceira foi realmente irretocável. O Urso perdeu força com o debate “é comédia?” – que na verdade não é – e concorrendo com sua pior temporada, a terceira, só garante a indicação mesmo. Only Murders in the Building e Abbott Elementary são figurinhas carimbadas na categoria, mas não levam o prêmio, o que é uma pena, pois a quarta temporada de AE foi uma das melhores.
Além de O Estúdio, outra novata que deve aparecer é Ninguém Quer, que merece a indicação com toda certeza. A última temporada de What We Do in the Shadows também deve marcar presença, mas, como sempre, sair de mãos vazias. Falando a Real pode tomar o espaço dela, e com sua ótima segunda temporada, não seria surpresa.
O que é realmente uma pena é que as melhores comédias da temporada, Alguém em Algum Lugar e O Ensaio, fiquem fora da conversa principal por falta de campanha da HBO, o que também acontece com a ótima Mo, mas aí a culpada já é a Netflix. O Prime Video desistiu de fazer campanha desde Fleabag e Mrs. Maisel, então não deve garantir uma chance para Muito Esforçado, uma das séries mais engraçadas do ano, mesmo que a trama não traga nada de novo. Já Adultos, que também segue nessa esfera da juventude e merecia ainda mais uma indicação, dificilmente conseguirá.

Categorias de Drama
Nas categorias dramáticas, a disputa é clara entre Ruptura e The Pitt pelo prêmio principal. Slow Horses e Andor possuem muita qualidade, mas campanhas não são fortes, o que é uma pena. Assim como Interview with the Vampire, que concorreria pela metade final de sua 2ª temporada, mas até mesmo a indicação é um sonho distante. Em Melhor Ator, Noah Wyle parece ter tomado o favoritismo de Adam Scott, enquanto Pedro Pascal perde força pela participação menor na 2ª temporada de The Last of Us, mas uma surpresa pode ocorrer. Em Melhor Atriz, Kathy Bates tem o “fator veterano” como aliado, mas Bella Ramsey e Britt Lower não podem ser facilmente descartadas. Marisa Abela seria uma bela surpresa depois de ter ganhado o BAFTA por seu papel em Industry. As categorias coadjuvantes vão ser dominadas por The White Lotus e o prêmio deve seguir na mão de algum deles, apesar da possível divisão de votos. Nos convidados, Kaitlyn Dever já está com o troféu feminino em casa, praticamente.

A vitória de Pinguim era dada como certa até o estrondo que foi a estreia de Adolescência e é difícil que a minissérie da Netflix não leve. Nas categorias de atuação, há uma provável divisão, com Colin Farrell e Cristin Milioti vencendo a categoria principal e Owen Cooper e Erin Doherty vencendo como coadjuvantes. Say Nothing, que deveria ter muito mais reconhecimento tem a possibilidade de ser ao menos indicada, o que não é o caso da ótima Cidade Tóxica, uma vez que a Netflix colocou todas as suas fichas em Adolescência. Morrendo Por Sexo tem a indicação dada como certa, mas é difícil enxergar uma vitória em qualquer categoria. As possibilidades maiores ficariam nas categorias de atuação femininas, principal e coadjuvante, mas com um favoritismo tão claro e concorrência de peso de Milioti e Doherty, Michelle Williams e Jenny Slate devem ficar a ver navios, apesar do talento inquestionável.
